The following list contains known or potential vehicle's which are not fully OBDII compliant and/or not compatible with UltraGauge v1.2 or newer. If you have a UltraGauge prior to v1.2 (roughly pre July 4 2012), please see the corresponding pre-v1.2 exceptions list
STATUS |
|
Confirmed - | UltraGauge.com has confirmed this incompatibility |
Unconfirmed - | An UltraGauge customer has reported the issue. The issue may actually be a problem specific to their vehicle and not to all like vehicles. This should be considered a warning and you should be prepared to re-task your UltraGauge to another vehicle if you experience the same problem. If you can also confirm the problem, we would greatly appreciate it if you could alert support via the support ticket system found here: Support Ticket |
?? | Simply based upon previous years this vehicle may or may not be compatible. There have been no known reports of issues. |
Diesel Vehicles: Please see this knowledgebase article: Diesel Engines
Any vehicle with a multi-displacement engine that does not have a Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) will not measure MPG accurately, unless Multi-displacement is disabled via Auto-Stick or equivalent.. Learn about MAF here
INTERNATIONAL VEHICLES: It is imperative that a target vehicle is confirmed to be OBDII Compliant. Once confirmed, then this exceptions list can be consulted. Please see the compatibility page for OBDII compliance
Returns received that were purchased for a vehicle on the exceptions list or one that does not have an emission label marked as OBDII certified or compliant, will incur a $15 refurbishment fee
