ALTERNATE PAIRING METHOD
Note: If the Blue Adapter's Attention icon is still blinking AFTER completing the steps above, or pairing did not happen, please follow the steps below (This is a RARE situation which may occur indicating the Pairing process did not complete cleanly):
- At the Mobile Devices Settings->Bluetooth screen, select the info icon next to "UltraGauge Blue" and select "Forget this device" (this will unpair the Blue Adapter).
- Unplug the Adapter from your vehicle
- While carefully pressing the button on the Blue Adapter, plug the Adapter back into your vehicle. You should see the Battery and Attention icons on solid. This indicates the Adapter has been forced into Pairing mode (Note: the Adapter is also in "Update Mode" at this point, but we will get it back to "Normal Mode" in steps 5 & 6 below)
- Go to the Mobile Devices Settings->Bluetooth screen. Click on "UltraGauge Blue" on this screen and wait for it to pair/connect.
- Unplug the Adapter from your vehicle
- Plug the Blue Adapter into your vehicle (make sure the ignition is in the RUN position, engine off, and you are NOT pressing the button on the Adapter while installing).
At this point, the Adapter should be running in Normal Mode. Start the UltraGauge App on your Mobile Device, it should automatically connect to the Adapter within 30 seconds.
